Our Company

The Maverick Group consists of two businesses which enable the company to perform critical functions of the upstream petroleum industry in-house.

These internal functions include developmental and exploratory drilling, internal operation of wells on its own leases, generation of exploration prospects and the servicing of drilling and workover rigs.

These subsidiaries are:

• Maverick Production Company, a petroleum operating company with internal prospect generation ability and internal workover capability.
• Maverick Drilling Company, a 36 year old, profitable contract drilling company.

This combination of businesses allows Maverick to maximize the functions in the upstream petroleum industry that can be performed without paying a profit premium to third party service providers.
